NAKIVO, a fast-growing software company dedicated to protecting virtualized and cloud environments, recorded an impressive 85% revenue growth in 2017 as the company continues to demonstrate rapid customer adoption and fast pace growth in the VMware, Hyper-V, and Amazon EC2 backup markets worldwide.

"2017 was another huge year for NAKIVO, as we achieved revenue growth of almost 2X. The need to ensure business continuity and to provide 24/7 data availability are making enterprises and SMB’s seek newer technologies from established VM backup solution providers. In order to meet this demand and satisfy future customer needs, we are focused not only on adding new functionality to NAKIVO Backup & Replication, but also on strengthening our relationships with customers, solution partners, and cloud service providers."
The following were some of NAKIVO’s achievements throughout 2017:
Revenue: In 2017, NAKIVO has achieved excellent annual results: nearly doubling revenue (85% growth) in 2017 vs. 2016, demonstrating rapid growth in the VMware, Hyper-V, and Amazon EC2 backup markets. Most of the 2017 revenue (53%) came from the EMEA region, while 37% came from the Americas, and 10% from the Asia-Pacific region. In 2017, the top three countries, in terms of revenue, were the United States, Germany, and Italy.
NAKIVO's revenue grew more than 100% YoY in the Netherlands, Italy, Canada, South Africa, Belgium, Austria, Brazil, Poland, and Ireland.
Customers: In 2017, the number of new customers grew by 103% in the EMEA region, by 62% in the Americas, and by 50% in the Asia-Pacific region. As of now, NAKIVO has customers in 105 countries worldwide and has expanded into Andorra, French Polynesia, Tunisia, and Bosnia & Herzegovina for the first time.

Resellers: NAKIVO has increased the number of its solution provider partners by 75% from 2016 to 2017. In Q4 2017 alone, 240 new solution providers joined the NAKIVO Partner Program and now offer NAKIVO products to their enterprise and SMB customers. NAKIVO now has over 2,300 partners across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle-East, and the Asia-Pacific region. One example of a solution partner is Vodien (NAKIVO Cuts Backup Costs by 40% and Decreases Backup Administration Time by 50% for Vodien).
Cloud Providers: NAKIVO’s Cloud Provider Program enables managed service, cloud, and hosting providers to deliver VM Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS), VM Replication-as-a-Service (RaaS), and VM Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) to their customers using NAKIVO Backup & Replication. In 2017, NAKIVO increased the number of qualified cloud providers to 181. An example of a hosting and cloud service provider is Phi Medien Systeme GmbH (NAKIVO Saves $25,000 in Backup Costs for a Hosting Provider).
