Druva Doubles Down on India Presence

Druva, Inc., the leader in cloud data protection and management, today announced the opening of its new facility in Pune, India, which will serve as a key innovation center focused on product development, and support the company in reaching its goal of 1,000 employees in the region. The new space further expands Druva’s footprint and provides a central location for supporting its global client base located across the US, Europe and APAC.

Since the company’s founding in 2008, Pune has remained the innovation hub for Druva. The new office signals a continued commitment to the region and will provide support for growing international demand. The Pune facility will continue to be a home base for Druva’s engineering talent pool, focused on building technology that will change how organizations all over the world manage and optimize their data.

“The opening of the new center in Pune is a significant milestone for Druva,” said Jaspreet Singh, founder and CEO, Druva. “The development center is a major step toward continuing our global expansion, strengthening our international reach, and positioning Druva to attract the best talent in the world. This is where Druva was founded and we look forward to working on new technology here that will help fuel our aggressive international growth plans.”

Priorities for the local team will include providing support for growing needs around Druva’s data management applications as well as driving R&D around new areas of cloud storage, big data analytics, and AI-driven services, all within the Druva Cloud Platform. The Druva Cloud Platform is a unique cloud-native solution, combining Druva inSync, Druva Phoenix and Druva CloudRanger to deliver a unified solution for data protection, security and governance across endpoints, SaaS, data centers, and IaaS. It offers customers the ability to pay as data is consumed, eliminating the need to invest in additional hardware or software. Unlike other solutions on the market, the Druva Cloud Platform readily scales to accommodate hundreds of petabytes of data through its cloud-based architecture.
